Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board
Doris Honold was appointed Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board of SEFE and Chair of the Risk Committee in March 2023.
Currently, Doris holds a portfolio of different board positions in the financial services sector and as well at organisations promoting solutions to climate finance.
Doris is a seasoned leader in financial services with more than 25 years of Board level experience in finance, risk management, and change management, which she gained as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Operating Officer. She is also experienced in non-executive Director and Advisory appointments with organisations focused on climate change and sustainable development. Doris has worked in Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore and London. Until 2019, she was Group Chief Operating Officer of Standard Chartered Bank and a member of Supervisory Board of the Standard Chartered Germany AG.
Furthermore, Doris is the Chair of the Climate Bonds Initiative and a Board member of the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market. Both organisations work on mobilising global capital for climate actions.
Doris holds a German Diploma in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Ulm, and a Master in Applied Mathematics from the University of Southern California. She is a Senior Fellow of Harvard University's Advanced Leadership Program and is well-known for her expertise in risk management, executive leadership, sustainability, change management, and financial technology.
